This webinar, to be delivered in English, aims to provide translators and interpreters working between Japanese and English with an overview of the following: • drug development in Japan; • regulatory systems in Japan and Australia; and • Japanese-English translation in the pharma field. Presenter Tony Atkinson is a freelance Japanese-English translator working mainly in the areas of medicine and drug development. He also teaches Japanese-English medical translation in the MAJIT course at the University of Queensland, and delivers seminars on pharma translation and English scientific writing to clients in Japan.
