Registrations CLOSED

We are pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 2020 AUSIT National Conference, “Business as Unusual”, to be held online (for the first time ever!) on 20 - 21 November 2020.

The focus of this year’s conference is on the challenges and opportunities opening up in an evolving translation and interpreting landscape, especially during this time of insecurity and rapid change in the profession.

Registration fees are:

  • $100 for AUSIT members
  • $100 for ASLIA or NZSTI members
  • $50 for student members
  • $200 for non-members

Please note that if you are a not an AUSIT member and wish to register for the conference, you are strongly encouraged to first become a member. This is because you will pay the same amount or less to become a member AND attend the conference as you would pay as a non-member. AUSIT membership fees have been cut by 50%, to support practitioners throughout the COVID-19 crisis, so ordinary membership fees for the coming year are only $100, or $30 for students. Plus, in the process, you will obtain all the benefits that come with membership!

When you register, you will gain:

  • A place in AUSIT’s first ever online conference
  • Access to presentations by leading practitioners and academics
  • A chance to network in group sessions throughout the event
  • Access to instant communication, interaction and polls via the Attendify application
  • An opportunity to gain exposure to a targeted audience

We look forward to seeing you there!
