The AUSIT QLD
proudly invites you to Session 3 of the Business Series.

Marketing is all about being real, being relevant, expanding your reach, and getting results. Great marketing is all about putting the customer at the centre of everything you do.  Join marketing specialist Bindi McGrath as she takes you on a journey through the customer’s eyes. How do they find you, what do they think of you, what supports their decision to hire you, and how do they remember you?

Translating and interpreting is a unique industry; unlike retail businesses of corporate services firms, there’s not a daily or weekly need for the service, and in some cases your number one client can also be your number one competitor. Whether it’s signing up to a Language Service Provider, or seeking private clients, Bindi will take you through the step-by-step process to make sure you’re promoting yourself in the right place, at the right time, with the right message and to the right customer.

This one-hour webinar will be split into two parts:

1.  Setting the foundations – this applies to start-ups as well as established businesses who need to refine the core of what they do. We’ll discuss why you need a Vision and Mission Statement as well as a Value Proposition, and how to develop your own Value Proposition (the thing that sets you apart and gives customers a reason to do business with you). We’ll also look at how to identify your ideal customer and how to find them.

2.  Getting Practical – in the second part we’ll look at a number of practical steps you can do to attract your ideal customer in either your interpreting or translation business, knowing that they require different approaches.
After the session you’ll feel confident in putting some new marketing steps in place, to grow your business into the future.
