VIC: Ethics Presentation and Workshop

Zoom On-line Meeting

Saturday 12 September 2020
2.00pm - 5.00pm
AEST
REGISTRATIONS CLOSED

You are invited to attend an online presentation followed by a workshop on the ethics of the profession.

This online workshop will provide you with a valuable opportunity to refresh your knowledge on the AUSIT Code of Ethics and to participate in solving ethical dilemmas that you may encounter in your day to day professional life.

The application of the Code of Ethics can prove a complex and delicate exercise at times. Practitioners can be left wondering whether the choices they make are truly in accordance with our ethical principles.

Through peer-generated discussion, we will endeavour to discover how to best apply unbiased and balanced professional judgement to some challenging real-life scenarios applicable to both translators and interpreters alike.

Presenter - Jonathan Beagley
