Event details
Please join us at our annual conference, which is the focal point of our calendar of events. It attracts practitioners, scholars and industry stakeholders from around Australia and beyond. It provides the opportunity for connecting, learning, exchanging and growing as T&I practitioners. This makes the event quite extraordinary.
The 36th National Conference of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators will take place from 3pm, Thursday 23 to 5pm, Saturday 25 November 2023 at the University of New South Wales, Kensington campus, Sydney.
The AUSIT National Conference provides a forum for practitioners and scholars to explore key issues in translation and interpreting. The Organising Committee looks forward to welcoming delegates to this in-person event. The theme for this year’s conference is Building bridges, strengthening alliances: Translation and interpreting in today's connected world. It focuses on building bridges, maintaining those we have and ensuring the sustainability of the translating and interpreting industry in Australia.
