  ●  How to improve/upgrade one's interpreting skills in the context of today’s challenges;
  ●  Translation as foundational competence, and improvement thereof;
  ●  What to make of the ramifications of AI's facilitative and disruptive potential; and
  ●  Q&A.

Biography - Chen Ji

Fellow, Chartered Institute of Linguists, UK (CIOL)
Member, International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC)

Currently staff UN interpreter at UNHQ, New York

Chen Ji was a freelance simultaneous/consecutive interpreter for over two decades servicing, inter alia, UK government agencies, leading Chinese businesses listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and international organisations in and outside the UN system. He was professionally domiciled in London, Greater China and Geneva before relocating to New York upon joining UNHQ.
