This free webinar is funded by the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA). It will familiarise interpreters with the Demand and Control Schema as a tool to deal with ethical issues arising from working in NDIS settings.

It is highly recommended that you complete Modules 1 to 6 of the “Interpreting in NDIS Settings” training, jointly developed by NEDA and RMIT university and hosted on the NAATI Learn portal. You still have time to do them!

This webinar will enhance your understanding about

  • What are the demands in an NDIS interpreting assignment
  • What are the controls the practitioner has available
  • How to evaluate situations arising in an interpreting assignment
  • Decision making and self-reflection
