NAATI Recertification Workshop

Webinar Via Zoom

Select your preferred date – content is the same for all sessions

Join us for a one-hour interactive workshop designed to support you through the recertification process!

During the session, we’ll cover:

  • What recertification is and why it matters
  • Understanding professional development and work practice requirements, with tips to help you meet them
  • How to use the myNAATI logbook
  • How to submit your recertification application via myNAATI

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and receive hands-on assistance from NAATI staff, including guidance on navigating the myNAATI portal on your device.

Please note that we are offering four sessions, each covering the same content, so you only need to register for ONE of the available dates. The first two sessions will be facilitated by Paul Aparicio from NAATI's VIC team, while the final two will be delivered by NAATI's WA team (presenter to be announced).

Our Presenter - Paula Aparicio, Team Leader, Certification Testing – NAATI

Originally from Chile, Paula is a NAATI-certified English into Spanish translator and conference interpreter with a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies from Monash University. She moved to Australia over a decade ago to pursue her studies and further develop her career in the language services industry.

With over six years of experience working in a language service provider, Paula brings deep industry knowledge to her current role as Team Leader of Certification Testing at NAATI’s Melbourne office. She is also a member of AUSIT and is committed to upholding high professional standards, promoting quality, and supporting the next generation of practitioners.

Outside of work, she enjoys learning more about Japanese culture, literature, and language. She also loves spending time with her husband and their dog Darwin and exploring new cuisines with friends.
